EG678 Cloud Acceptable Use Policy
Version: 1.0 · Published: 10.09.2026 · Effective: 15.09.2026
Scope
This policy sets out the rules for the secure and lawful use of server and information technology services provided by Emre Göktepe under the EG678 Cloud brand, without infringing the rights of third parties.
This policy forms an integral part of the EG678 Cloud Terms of Service.
1. General Use Rule
The Customer must use EG678 Cloud's infrastructure in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, applicable third-party terms of use and licensing conditions, and this policy.
2. Prohibited Activities
Using EG678 Cloud's infrastructure for the following activities is prohibited:
- unauthorised access or attempted access to third-party systems,
- carrying out or facilitating DDoS/DoS attacks,
- distributing malware, ransomware, botnets or similar malicious software,
- phishing and credential theft activities,
- sending spam or unlawful bulk electronic messages,
- using or distributing stolen accounts or access credentials,
- hosting or distributing unlawful content,
- unlawfully infringing third parties' intellectual property rights,
- engaging in activities that endanger the security or service continuity of EG678 Cloud's infrastructure or other customers.
3. Software and Licence Use
The Customer must hold the necessary licences or usage rights for software used on the Customer's server.
The use of tools intended to bypass licensing or activation mechanisms without authorisation, including:
- cracks,
- licence patches,
- unauthorised activators,
- KMS emulators,
- unauthorised activation servers,
- modified or counterfeit licensing mechanisms
and similar tools is prohibited.
KMS, Volume Activation or other enterprise activation methods permitted by Microsoft or another software vendor under valid licence entitlements are not covered by this prohibition.
A product being technically displayed as “Activated”, “Licensed” or similar does not, by itself, demonstrate a valid licence entitlement.
For products licensed by EG678 Cloud, the Customer must accurately report the actual number of users, devices, processors, cores or other relevant usage quantities that affect licensing.
4. System and Network Security
The Customer must take reasonable security measures for operating systems, user accounts and applications under the Customer's control.
Network access for a server found to be compromised or causing harm to third-party systems may be temporarily restricted to protect the infrastructure and third parties.
5. Misuse of Resources
The Customer must not use the allocated service in a manner that seriously degrades the service quality of other customers or endangers the integrity of EG678 Cloud's infrastructure.
Specific resource limits for the service may be stated separately in the quotation or service description.
6. Detection and Notification of Violations
When EG678 Cloud detects a policy violation, it will notify the Customer to the extent permitted by the nature of the incident.
Where appropriate, the Customer may be given a reasonable period to remedy the violation.
In the event of an active attack, malware propagation or an incident directly threatening infrastructure security, necessary technical restrictions may be imposed without prior notice.
7. Licence Violations
If unlicensed or unlawfully activated software is detected, EG678 Cloud may require the Customer to obtain a valid licence or remove the software concerned.
Depending on the nature of the incident, the Customer may be given a reasonable period to remedy the violation.
If the violation is not remedied or recurs, the service may be restricted, suspended or terminated under the Terms of Service.
8. Repeated or Serious Violations
In the event of serious or repeated policy violations, EG678 Cloud reserves the right to restrict, suspend or terminate the relevant service in accordance with the Terms of Service to protect its infrastructure and third parties.
9. Policy Changes
This policy may be updated to reflect technical, legal or operational requirements.
Existing Customers will be notified of material changes through registered communication channels.
The current version is published on the EG678 Cloud website.
