Data Centre

Our data centre infrastructure

Servers are hosted in Istanbul and Europe locations. Redundant power, cooling, physical access control and redundant network connectivity are standard components of the data centre layer.

Why location matters

The physical location of a server affects two things directly: latency and regulation. If most of your users are in Türkiye, the Istanbul location shortens the distance travelled across the network and lowers response times — a difference felt most in applications making many small requests.

On the regulatory side, where systems processing personal data are hosted is a decisive constraint in some sectors. Where data must remain within the country, the Istanbul location is directly suitable.

The Europe location is chosen in two cases: for latency when the user base is European, or for business continuity when a geographically separate secondary copy is required.

The protections provided at the data centre layer — redundant power, cooling, fire detection, physical access control — are components rarely found in an in-house server room. Getting that layer ready-made is one of the most tangible gains of moving to the cloud.

  • Latency advantage matched to your user base
  • Location choice aligned with data residency requirements
  • Redundant power and cooling infrastructure
  • Physical access control and logging
  • Redundant network connectivity across multiple carriers

Features

The data centre layer

  • Redundant power

Uninterruptible power supply and generator backup, so a grid outage does not become a server shutdown.

  • Climate control

A temperature and humidity controlled environment — a factor that directly affects hardware lifespan and stability.

  • Redundant connectivity

Internet connectivity across multiple carriers, so a problem on one link does not cut access.

  • Physical security

Access control and logging; physical access to hardware is limited to authorised personnel.

  • Fire detection

Early detection and suppression systems are standard components of the data centre layer.

  • Continuous monitoring

Infrastructure metrics are monitored continuously, and anomalies reach the operations team as alerts.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can I choose which location my server sits in?

Yes. You can choose between the Istanbul and Europe locations. The decision usually follows from where your users are and your data residency requirements, and we assess it with you.

Can I visit the data centre?

Physical access to data centres is restricted for security reasons. When you raise a visit request we assess it within the facility's policy and share the available options.

Can I host across both locations?

For organisations with business continuity requirements, placing a geographically separate secondary copy is a sensible approach. We design that scenario with you as part of your disaster recovery plan.
